California Dreaming-Part I

The weather here in the southeast hasn't been very picturesque in the last couple of weeks, mostly cold and rainy, the kind of weather that makes you want to stay in your p.j.'s all day and start dreaming of living in California! As I don't have a studio, (I do all of my photography sessions in natural light) there hasn't been great opportunities to do many sessions. We had to reschedule another one today. :( But this time does allow for me to go back and edit pictures of my own that I never get around to doing!

Here are some photos from our trip to California this summer. (glup-6 months ago!!!) These are from our last day when we stumbled upon an antique car show in the streets of Carmel. Now, I don't know anything about cars, nor do I really care much about cars, (evidence of my old school 2002 Jetta that I drive!) but these babies were enough to make any ambivalent car owner drool over these shiny machines. Check it out!

Or this one!

This was my favorite. It's my favorite colors and was sponsored by Tiffany's, hence all the signature blue boxes in the car.

Love, love, LOVE!

I was drawn to the beautiful robin's egg blue of these boxes with the shiniest silver trophies I have ever seen sitting on top. Plus, they had gorgeous hydrangeas outlining the area that made it extra lovely!

I don't know why, but I loved this shot of the man straighting the trophies. If you look closely, you can see me taking the picture in the first trophy. (Hint: I'm wearing an orange shirt!)

Keep your fingers crossed that the weather gets a little better in Georgia, but if it doesn't, be on the look out for California Dreaming-Part II. And let me know if you want to get in on the photo shot action when the weather gets better.
