This month's contest on I ♥ Faces website (www.Iheartfaces.com) is titled "Bubbles." While I'm sure that there are way more creative ways to look at bubbles, this picture of my niece Jackie popped into my head when I heard about the contest. (A little bubble humor there, "popped," get it?!!) I love the look of concentration on her face and the creases in her forehead has she tries to blow the bubble!
For those of you that are wondering, Jackie has lost all of her hair, but they can't seem to figure out why. Her mom is a nurse, so I know they are doing everything they can to figure it out, (they have a few theories, but my sister-in-law would have to fill you in) but right now she just has a little peach fuzz growing.
The thing about Jackie is she is such a sweet, loving caring little girl. She loves to hug and snuggle and she thinks about others in a way that little kids usually don't. She just started kindergarten last week and is doing so well! I went and read to her class last week to try and give her a little "street cred" with the other kiddies. Yes, I did bring treats. No, I am not above bribing kids. Don't judge. :)
