Today I got to spend some quality time with Ellie Ruth and her mom at the park. Not only was it an awesome park (very hip, colorful w/cool slides-isn't it all about the slides?!) but Ellie Ruth was so fun to follow around and document her playground adventures. I love how parks and other things that adults might consider "run of the mill" aka "boring," can be this amazing, crazy, new totally new adventure to kids. Makes you want to hang around 'em a little more and squeeze some of that appreciation for the ordinary things out of them. :)
Ellie Ruth's mom is such a fun, cute mom. Her and Ellie Ruth can have an entire conversation without any actual real words, just words that Ellie Ruth has made up and her mother understands. :)
