A few weeks ago, my family and I traveled to Charleston, South Carolina for my cousin Monica's wedding. If you have never been to Charleston, it is a southern waterfront city with tasty resturants, friendly people, and beautiful architecture. I would recommend visiting.
That being said, while in the lovely city, I have never been so hot in my entire life! We had grand plans of sight seeing, but those plans were quickly tossed aside due to the oppressive heat. (I mean, we are from "Hotlanta" for goodness sakes! We know HOT!) Luckily, our hotel for the weekend (Mills House Hotel-see below) was not only beautiful but had a fabulous, wonderful, heavenly air conditioning system ready to combat the southern heat. Here are a few pictures I managed to get before we ran back to the hotel!

I found this cat staring at us through the window. This is for all the cat lovers out there. You know who you are.

Love the row houses!

Overlooking the harbor, I liked the reddish umbrellas lined up.

My littlest sister Kristen, Honeykins, and my Dad were in our short lived sight seeing tour group. Can you see the expressions on thier faces? They are sooo ready to go back to the cool hotel!

Stay tuned for more pictures....
